Presentation techniques

Do's  and don'ts when pitching a presentation

When presenting any idea you need to be able to consider to have some knowledge about your topic, so you need to do your own research. I suggest that you do not go into your meeting without any idea about your topic.
You must be clear and concise about the outcome of your presentation, so you need to be clear about the options which may or may not be made at the end of the presentation. You must not mix the facts which you should have already gathered for your presentation with your or someones else's opinion.
When pitching a presentation you need to be able to make your voice clear to everyone else in the room however you must not shout directly or to the audience.
You need to able to be engaged with the audience; you need to have some eye contact and to ask the audience some questions. You shouldn't turn your back on the audience, the volume of your voice changes and the audience isn't engaged anymore.
As you practice your presentation you should change your tone of voice to keep the audiences interest. You should try and not to keep your tone of voice on one tone because it may lose the audiences interest.
